Expertise/interests: LCA, circular economy, metals, consumer electronics, waste management
I have been working at CE Delft as a researcher/consultant in the Supply Chain Analysis sector since December 2015. I have gained LCA experience at CE Delft on a wide range of topics including concrete, different forms of waste management, the use of metals and biobased plastics. I have also worked on several projects concerning the circular economy.
Sustainability featured prominently in my academic studies. I have received a bachelor degree from Leiden University College (LUC) The Hague majoring in Sustainability with a minor in International Development. My bachelor thesis focused on the environmental impact of the production of a mobile phone.
After my bachelors I started an Erasmus Mundus Master in Industrial Ecology (the MIND-programme). I studied for a year in Sweden at Chalmers University, six months at Leiden University and Delft University of Technology and graduated at Graz University, Austria. I graduated on the development of certification system for sustainable copper. My master thesis was awarded with the Hans Roth Umweltpreis 2016.
I’m keen to put my experience at CE Delft and the knowledge from my academic training into practice to make a concrete contribution to a more sustainable world.
